We know that working with Meryl Streep would be really hard for us, mostly just because we'd be fan-girling out and crying tears of joy the entire time, but actor Benedict Cumberbatch (another Hollywood A-lister that's stolen our heart) has another explanation on his work partner.


Benedict and Meryl are both starring in August: Osage County, and the Sherlock Holmes star explains that being in the same room as the Oscar winner is actually, well, harder than you'd think if you were trying to do what you were hired to do—and that is act!

The celebrity told Your Tango, "Meryl was extraordinary. The hardest thing with her is to actually act. You just want to sit and watch her. You want to be in the audience."
