What could be cooler than winning a coveted gold medal and becoming an instant household name? Um, how about having a celebrity give you a shout out!

After Gabby Douglas snagged gold in the All-Around Women's final, the U.S. gymnast was given a shout out on Beyoncé's blog. Gabby established a milestone yesterday as the first African American woman to take home this prize.

Beyoncé wrote, "A huge congratulations to 16 year old Olympic Gold Medalist Gabby Douglas - WOW - what a thrill to watch you take this Gold!  - enjoy this moment, its yours. Thank you for inspiring all of us! Love, B"

We should add that Beyoncé wasn't the only superstar to give a shout-out to Miss Gabby D on Twitter. Oprah, Estelle, Octavia Spencer, and, yes, President Obama all gave her a cyber-round of applause.
