Bill Maher Donates $1 Million to Super PAC

At the end of Bill Maher's CrazyStupidPolitics online comedy special last night, the comedian did something that's no laughing matter. He donated $1 million to Priorities USA Action, a Super PAC that supports President Obama!

Here's what went down: Bill inaugurated Yahoo!'s new live comedy web channel with an hour-long stand up routine with his political material pointed toward Republican presidential candidates. He also sprinkled in current events like the New York Knicks phenom Jeremy Lin. VIDEO: PRESIDENT OBAMA SINGS WITH MICK JAGGER & B.B. KING AT BLUES CONCERT AT THE WHITE HOUSE According to The New York Times, at the end of the broadcast, he donated the big chunk of change and then urged wealthy Democrats to cough up dough as well. Although Bill preceded the announcement with fake announcements like a marriage proposal and religious conversation, it sounds like he was downright serious in making this political donation.
