Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth sound ready to tie the knot but the question is, is her dad Billy Ray ready to give her away?

According to RadarOnline, a source indicated they knew Liam was going to pop the question but now that they're engaged, he hopes they take a while to walk down the aisle.

The insider dished, "Billy Ray hopes the engagement will be very long, but he isn't opposed to the marriage at all. Billy Ray got divorced from his first wife Cindy though and he just doesn't want Miley to go through a similar heartbreak."

The source pointed out the Australian actor is part of the Cyrus family and in particular is close to her mom. "It's a very special time for the family and it's certainly not easy for Billy Ray to realize that his oldest daughter is getting married. In Billy Ray's eyes she will always be his little girl."
