'Black Swan' Director "Bummed" by Mila Kunis' Oscar Snub

It worked out too perfectly that best friends Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis were both nominated at the Golden Globes for Black Swan. Unfortunately Mila has been upstaged at the Oscars and didn't receive a Best Supporting Actress nomination. Her director Darren Aronofsky says he's "bummed."

Why can't everyone just be nominated?
Darren earned a best director nomination for Black Swan, but told The Hollywood Reporter he was "bummed" his castmembers Mila, Barbara Hershey, Winona Ryder and Vincent Cassel were not nominated as well.
Still, Natalie's Best Actress nomination was cause for celebration and said it's "fantastic."

The nominees were announced Tuesday morning, but Darren took his mind of that by building Legos with his son in his NYC apartment.

"I was superstitious,” he explained. “I knew it was this morning and I tried to ignore it and block it out.”
How will he celebrate? Well, he's going to Florida to celebrate his mother's birthday!
“She was the first person to call me and I’m sure she is going to be delighted to show me off to all of her friends in Florida," he said. "So maybe that’s when it’ll sink in."
