So how is married life treating Blake Lively?

Well, if her October Allure cover story — culled from an interview written a month before her surprise nuptials to Ryan Reynolds — is any indication, Blake's doing pretty darn well for herself.

"Right now, I’m so peaceful…. I’ve never been happier in my life," she told the magazine. "It’s the choice that you have to wake up every day and say, ‘There’s no reason today can’t be the best day of my life.'"

The spread accompanying the feature is equally Zen, with Blake looking rustic and maternal cradling a lamb in a Pleasantville, N.Y. field.

Note to Ryan: You better want kids — and lots of them!

"I've always wanted a big family.... I'd love 30 children if I could," she said, which matches up with what she told Allure back in October of 2010.

"I want babies," she said two years ago. "Lots of babies. Of course!"

Blake and Ryan met on the set of Green Lantern and began dating a little under a year ago. The pair shocked everyone by getting hitched at Boone Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant, S.C., on Sunday night. This is her first marriage and his second.
