Blake Lively Talks ‘Romance Alerts’

Blake Lively, 21, certainly leads an enviable life as the star of Gossip Girl.

“I don’t think you can ever get used to red carpets with people screaming your name, millions of flashes – nothing about that is normal,” she says.

She shrugs off rumors that she’s romancing co-star Penn Badgley.

“Any male friend is obviously a romance alert but I’ve always been friends with boys my whole life ‘cause I have two brothers,” she says. “I grew up watching football with my dad, so I’ve always been friends with guys as well as girls. Luckily, when you hang out with a girl, it’s not a romance alert. Maybe sometimes it is – I don’t know.”
