OK! NEWS: ADAM LAMBERT AND KATY PERRY RESPOND TO AMERICAN IDOL RUMORS
While Adam Lambert, Aretha Franklin and Miley Cyrus have all been rumored, Deadline revealed the latest performer to land on the "maybe" list.
Country star Brad Paisley.

Several of the show's most famous expats identify with the genre. Kelly Clarkson, the show's first official winner, has produced pop albums but has deep Southern roots, while Carrie Underwood who won the fourth season has gone on to become one of the most famous mainstream country singers on the musical landscape today.
