Wedding bells will be ringing for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, though not as soon as some have speculated.
RadarOnline.com reports that Brad and Angie will not be getting married at their Chateau in France this weekend — French law dictates that couples must get married at the town hall, and cannot hold a private ceremony at their home.
"We don't know anything about it," Patrick Mareschi, deputy culture secretary of the town of Corren, where Brangelina's Chateau Miraval is located, told Reuters. "Under French law, couples have to get married at the town hall. Unlike with a religious wedding, there's no way a couple can hold a civil ceremony at their own home."
Expect the rumor mill to keep churning about this one! August 18 has now emerged as a likely date for the nuptials.
