Well, yesterday was pretty crazy to say the least. But now that the Prince of Cambridge has been born, the next order of business is hearing what the proud parents themselves have to say about their new baby boy! According to People.com, here's what Kate and William said, word-for-word:

"We would like to thank the staff at the Lindo Wing and the whole hospital for the tremendous care the three of us have received. We know it has been a very busy period for the hospital and we would like to thank everyone – staff, patients and visitors – for their understanding during this time."

Ok fine, maybe there's no actual mention of their new son in the statement, but Will basically did that yesterday when he told the press that he and his wife "could not be happier." But we're going to take what we can get so thanks, Prince William!
