"He's walking. He's not walking very well. He's talking very well, and he's very mentally aware," his doctor, Joseph M. Zabramski said in a televised press conference Tuesday (via MTV News), "He'll fortunately make a 100 percent recovery."
Bret is now resting, receiving physical therapy and being monitored in an undisclosed location.

Doctors determined no aneurysm had taken place in Bret's brain and bleeding was no longer occurring after a third angiogram was done.
The Poison frontman will receive a fourth angiogram in two weeks to check his progress.

According to Bret's doctor he is "really suffering again right now" because the recovery process can be very painful as the blood clot begins to "clear," which can take seven to 10 days.
Bret was extremely lucky as Zabramski said 15 to 20 percent of people who suffer subarachnoid hemorrhages die before they can even reach a hospital.

The singer no longer has problems with slurred speech, but may continue to have problems with back pain and headaches.
As for returning to work, his doctor said Bret needs another four to six weeks of rest, and added, "What I made him promise me is that he would not make any promises."
