Brian Williams Announces Daughter Allison Williams' Peter Pan Casting and Proves He's the Proudest Dad Ever

Get emotional easily? Brian Williams is about to make you shed a few tears. The NBC Nightly News anchor just proved he's the proudest dad around. During his TV segment, Brian announced that his daughter Allison Williams would be taking the role of Peter Pan in NBC's upcoming live musical—and he did it in the cutest way possible.

He started off the announcement by reminding fans that Christopher Walken would be playing Captain Hook and then moved on to inform viewers that the Girls actress (who, yes, is his daughter!) would be playing Peter. He kept a super straight face and then delightfully added in a gem of a sentence, along with a flashback pic of toddler Allison dressed up as Peter Pan.

"Family members confirm that she's been rehearsing for this role since the age of three, and they look forward to seeing her fly," he said.

So. Adorable.
