Britney Spears is making her return to music with a new album, Femme Fatale, and wants her fans to know that not only is she back... but she's "better than ever!"

Britney is on the new cover of V Magazine and is opening up about new album and career goals for the future.
"A woman who is sexy and strong, dangerous and mysterious, cool and confident," is Britney's definition of a femme fatale.
But Britney's Circus album was her comeback, so Femme Fatale represents something new for the singer.
"I think Femme Fatale speaks for itself. I worked really hard on it and spent almost two years recording it. I think it’s the best album I have ever made," she said. "There’s nothing to say. I’ll let the music speak for me."

By now, Britney's fans have a good sense of what she is like as a pop star, but she has some other interests that they may not know.

"I love to cook, especially for my boys," she revealed. "I also make a mean southern sweet tea from a recipe my mom passed on to me. It’s really good. I love it. I make it for my boys all the time."
And Britney has had plenty of ups and downs in her career, but she also knows how to end up on top.
"I have learned to always stay true to myself and never let what other people say about me change who I am," she shared. "It’s a really important lesson that took me a long time to learn."
But it's worth it to keep making music.
"I love making new music for my fans, I love performing for my fans, and most importantly, I love my fans", Britney said. "I am so lucky to have their support. They drive me."

Still, Britney knows what she would do instead if she walked away from her music.
"I’d be a full-time mom, which would be cool. I’d miss my fans and all of the love the most, but I definitely would not miss having my picture taken everywhere I go," she said. "I wouldn’t miss showering in arenas either. So gross!"
But she's not going anywhere and wants people to know that!
"That the bitch is back and better than ever!" she said with a laugh.
