Unless you've been hanging out under a rock these days, you've surely noticed that Britney Spears has been steadily working her way back to her former status as the queen of pop. And now she's one step closer, as her label Jive Records predicts Circus will be #1 on the charts next week.
"This is going to reinforce her icon status," Barry Weiss, chairman and CEO of the BMG Label Group (which includes Jive) tells the Associated Press. "It's not just a No. 1 album."

While official numbers from Nielsen SoundScan won't be released until next week, Circus is estimated to be selling near to 500,000 copies in its first week.
Brit's manager Larry Rudolph says the numbers don't matter to the singer at the end of the day, but it's still good to know.
"Professionally, she's feeling great," he says. "It's great for her to hear that she's got a No. 1 album again."
