Britney's Comeback Full-Steam Ahead!

If every awards show was hosted by fast-talking British funnyman Russell Brand, we'd watch all of them from start to finish and probably never stop laughing. Take it from us, the Brits do it it better when it comes to comedy. Besides being the funniest host we've seen on TV in a loooong time, he moved the awards along smoothly and helped keep them upbeat and on time.
Tonight was also the night for another Brit, the comeback queen herself, Britney Spears. The Britster went three for three, winning Female Video of the Year, Best Pop Video, and the big kahuna, Best Video of the Year.

Lil Wayne and Rihanna were also omnipresent, appearing in multiple performances throughout the night with multiple partners. The Jonas Brothers staged a full-scale fan freakout with their performance, as crazed JB lovers ran towards their stage in the middle of the Paramount Studios.
All this happened in two hours and 15 minutes, no doubt to make sure all the tweens watching could still get to bed at a decent hour.
