Cameron's a Real Star

Cameron Diaz may already be a celebrity, but now her Hollywood status has been cemented with her very own star on the Walk of Fame.

The actress celebrated with her friends and fellow big names like Lucy Liu, Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, Nick Cassavetes, McG and Danny Boyle.

While Cassavetes, Cam's director in My Sister's Keeper joked that the 36-year-old looks great for 45, she joked right back that you should "always lie up" in years when it comes to talking about your age.

Cameron went on to accept a plaque from the mayor and city council, who deemed June 22 as "Cameron Diaz Day" in Hollywood. The actress went on to thank her friends and family, admitting that she couldn't have achieved success all on her own and you need certain people, claiming "They have my back."

Cam dedicated the star to the "eternal love" that her parents share, which has given her "the strength to live this fabulous life."
