Candace Bushnell Hearts SATC Movie

At Bravo's A-List Awards, Sex and the City creator Candace Bushnell gushed over the success of the SATC movie, which opened last weekend to huge numbers. "I think anybody who has a movie out is surprised when it's successful," She told OK!. "You just don’t know what’s going to happen."

She added, "It’s just wonderful when something does so wonderful. And all the fans came out and I've heard people going to see the movie three or four times."

Candace is also head over heels for the movie. She said, "I thought it was fantastic. I would go back and see it but it’s sold out!"

She created Sex and the City back when she was a columnist for the New York Observer and OK! just had to know if she likes the fate that Michael Patrick King has made for the ladies. "Oh, absolutely!"

But don't think that Candace is a one trick pony. She was also the mastermind behind NBC's successful drama Lipstick Jungle and she's already cooking up a new book for her fans. "I'm always writing a new novel. I have a new novel coming out in September and the new season of Lipstick Jungle in September. And it’s all great so knock on wood."
