Carrie Underwood recently said she was "nervous" nobody would buy her fourth studio album, Blown Away.
Well, she can officially put those fears to bed and add another No. 1 album to her resumé. Blown Away made its Billboard premiere at No.1 this week and moved 267,000 copies. Carrie's previous albums, Play On and Carnival Ride, also reached the top spot in 2009 and 2007, respectively.
Her current single Good Girl is steadily climbing at No. 8 and her second single, Blown Away, is nestled at the No. 22 spot.
"You never know. There are no guarantees in life or in music and it can get scary, but there’s no turning back now!" she said of her fourth album on the Elvis Duran and the Z100 Morning Show last month. "It's very diverse. The songs are really descriptive, its like reading an awesome book or seeing some great movie. We take you on a journey... we go from dark and stormy to really cool and organic to kind of redneck at the end."
