CATCHING UP WITH CELEBRITY CHEF ANTHONY BOURDAIN
July 31 2007, Published 6:00 a.m. ET
Celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain has traveled around the world on his reality show, No Reservations, so it was a bit surprising to learn what place he considers his most exotic location to date. Cleveland Ohio, he told OK! at the Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations premiere party held at the W New York's The Tuscany restaurant in NYC on July 30. People surf in the winter on Lake Erie, the food's good and I got to hang with Markie Ramone, from the greatest band in the history of music, The Ramones. I had an amazing time. This culinary adventurer, 51, spans the globe, but still makes time to catch his TV obsession, Top Chef, on which he has appeared as a guest judge. And yes, he does have a favorite competitor. I may think Hung is a miserable little ****, but that's one talented cook, Anthony said. I don't know if I'd want to take an elevator ride with him, but he's incredibly skilled. A winning personality and great skills in the kitchen don't always go together.Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations airs Mondays at 10 p.m. on The Travel Channel.By Delaina DixonPhoto: Wireimage.com
