Dr. Paul Nassif's voice can be heard in the TMZ tape recorded early on Jan. 27 saying (via PopEater), "I just got a call from the residence of Charlie Sheen, from a secretary. Apparently ... he's intoxicated. And he's saying, 'Don't call 911.' They got him on the phone, and he was very, very intoxicated, also apparently in a lot of pain. It was kind of weird, the phone call I received."
"He's in severe pain, and he's intoxicated," he added and said he is "very worried."
Charlie was then hospitalized in "serious condition" after allegedly having a 36-hour bender.
The Two and a Half Men actor's rep then made a statement on Jan. 28 saying, "Charlie Sheen has voluntarily entered an undisclosed rehabilitation center today. He is most grateful to all who have expressed their concern."
