Between his godesses and tiger blood, there's one thing we didn't see coming and that's casting Charlie Sheen as president of the United States!

Charlie is in negotiations to play the POTUS in Machete Kills. Director Robert Rodriguez made the big announcement on Twitter and wrote, "I just cast Charlie Sheen in #machetekills as the President of the United States! Who better? More soon..." Charlie retweeted the message and then his rep confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that 'tis indeed true.

The movie has an A-list cast which includes Sofia Vergara, Zoe Saldana, Danny Trejo, Jessica Alba and Mel Gibson. Ironically, Charlie's dad Martin Sheen previously played the president in the hit show The West Wing.
Despite his very public meltdown last year and leaving Two and a Half Men, there's no denying his career is still in full swing. Charlie currently stars in the new FX comedy, Anger Management. It will premiere on June 28.
