Charlie Sheen Honors Slash at Hollywood Walk of Fame & Slams Axl Rose

Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Famer Slash got his very own star yesterday on the Hollywood Walk of Fame! As the rocker received the accolade, he was surrounded by friends and supporters, such as Charlie Sheen.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Anger Management star gave props to his friend while simultaneously cracking a joke at the expense of Axl Rose. Charlie quipped, "It's quite fitting that Slash is getting a star on the very street Axl Rose will one day be sleeping on."

The guitarist was praised for his countless musical projects, and he even performed "Back from Cali," from his self-titled solo album; "Fall to Pieces" from Velvet Revolver's debut, Contraband; and, yes, he also played the classic Guns 'N' Roses hit, "Sweet Child O'Mine."
Slash remarked about the event: "It turned out to be really great. It's such a great accomplishment. I'm overwhelmed."
