Charlie Sheen Released From Jail on $8,500 Bail

Following his arrest this morning on charges of second degree assault, Charlie Sheen was released from Pitkin County Prison after paying $8,500 dollars in bail and a source inside the police department reveals exclusively to OK! what’s next for the 44-year-old actor.
After walking out of the Pitkin County, CO. jail at 7 PM mountain time, Charlie was ordered to return to Aspen on Feb. 8, 2010 for his next court appearance according to Stephanie Desaro of the Pitkin County Police Department.

And although no statement has been made regarding the involvement of alcohol in Sheen’s domestic dispute with wife Brooke Mueller, Desaro also reveals to OK! that Charlie can have no alcohol or drugs in his system until his next court date.
Charlie was arrested on Christmas morning after Brooke called 911 claiming assault.
