Charlie Sheen‘s days as Charlie Harper may be far from over. Reportedly, the 45-year-old actor and CBS are back in negotiations about putting Two and a Half Men back together again.
NBC’s Jeff Rossen has reported, according to a source close to Charlie, that two weeks after being fired from the hit CBS sitcom, Charlie, who raked in $2 million an episode, may get his job back.
“Sources close to Charlie Sheen tell NBC News, CBS has offered him his job back. Discussions ongoing. Not a done deal,” Rossen Tweeted.
Charlie and Rossen sat down for an NBC Special report earlier this month when Charlie debuted his goddesses at “Sober Valley Lodge,” the name Charlie dubbed his L.A. mansion.
Since Charlie and Rossen have a good rapport with one another, the validity of his return to Two and a Half Men seems more promising.
Hollywood Life also reported that CBS wants Charlie back, with a source claiming the chances of his return are near 80 percent!
“The rumors are true — CBS wants Charlie back. They saw how popular his tour has become, how it has been selling out, and when word spread that he started talking to Fox about a late-night show, some decision-makers got a little antsy,” a source told the site.
Wonder how his reprisal of Charlie Harper will work as the actor is currently suing the creator of his beloved Men character, Chuck Lorre and Warner Bros. for $100 million.
The unemployed actor is still raking in the cash with $1 million a year in Twitter endorsements as well as the money on his North American live tour, for which he is said to earn an estimated $7 million.
But he would earn $7 million for less than four episodes of Men. Do you think CBS will renegotiate a deal with Charlie?
