Charlie Sheen Says He's "Proud" of Being Jewish; Headed to Haiti With Sean Penn!

Thought Charlie Sheen was slowing down his media rounds? Think again. Charlie called in to Access Hollywood Live on Friday to speak out about the accusations of anti-Semitism and his upcoming trip to Haiti with Sean Penn!

“My mom is Jewish. Here’s where it gets confusing – we don’t know who her father was,” Charlie told Access over the phone, “but she is, in fact, Jewish. So, I guess that would make me Jewish, and my children Jewish. And Brooke Mueller, my ex-wife, is Jewish. So, I guess I should’ve rolled all that out, too.”
“You’re getting accused of anti-Semitic remarks – you might want to say, ‘By the way, I’m Jewish!’ ” Billy Bush told Charlie.
“I know, I know — stupid me,” Charlie said. “I just got caught sleeping. Caught napping. Which is rare for me. Anywho…. But, I’m proud of it. There you have it.”

“We’re going to do a couple things first and then it looks like we’re heading down to Haiti,” Charlie explained. “And I’m excited as hell because, you know, if I can bring the attention of the world down there, then clearly this tsunami keeps cresting."
