Cher is alive and well! And looks like the icon has become yet another victim in the social media realm when a death hoax spread like wildfire last night on Twitter.

NEWS: THE SCIENCE BEHIND THE LINDSAY LOHAN DEATH HOAX Cher isn't the only celeb who fell victim to faux stories. Earlier this month Rihanna was apparently "killed" and several weeks ago a Jon Bon Jovi rumor spread as well. The New Jersey native put the story to bed by posting a photo on Facebook indicating, "Heaven looks a lot like New Jersey."
