
Chris Brown Gets Lenient Restraining Order

Life just got a little bit lighter for Chris Brown. A judge in Los Angeles decreased the R&B star's distance of 50 yards away from Rihanna to 10 yards at music industry events. This is related to when he plead guilty to assaulting Rihanna before the Grammys two years ago.

According to The BBC, the ruling came after Rihanna's attorney indicated she didn't object to removing part of the restraining order. So, what does this mean for both of them? They are allowed to speak to each other and could even possibly appear on stage together.

That said, he's not out of the woods just yet. Chris was warned that Rihanna can record any threatening conversations she has with him and present it as evidence against him to the courts.
Although Chris faces another progress report hearing on June 22, his court order remains in effect until August 2014, when his probation will officially end. However, if he harasses, threatens, assaults or track's Rihanna's movements, that would not be a good thing. He could be found in violation of his probation.
