According to TMZ (via PopEater), Christina's song samples another song, "Hippy Skippy Moon Strut" (also known as "I'll Be a Lucky Man") by Dave Cortez and the Moon People. A federal lawsuit was filed in New York which indicates exclusive rights to the song are owned by TufAmerica and that Sony hasn't paid for the exclusive rights. Apparently TufAmerica has owned the rights since 2004.

Although Sony Music went through the Clyde Otis Music Group and Codigo Music for Christina to include the sample on her album it appears that wasn't good enough. The lawsuit claims that TufAmerica wants to be declared the rightful owner to "Hippy Skippy Moon Strut." They want to end any other publisher's claims and yes, they're also asking for money.
