Following the passing of the young actress Brittany Murphy late last year, found unconscious in her Hollywood Hills home, the L.A. County Coroner’s Office is having some difficulty piecing together the cause of her death due to disparities in her medical records according to new reports.
While a heart attack seemed to be at fault, Brittany, who was also suffering from anemia according to TMZ, only has medical files dating back to months before her passing although her mother Sharon Murphy claims that alternate, still unknown doctors had been treating her leading up to her death.

The pathologist assigned to the Clueless star’s case needs vital information attached to her most recent physicians such as prescription history and usage, as many pill bottles were found in Brittany’s home, some of which were issued to her husband Simon Monjack and even her mother Sharon.
According to TMZ, the toxicology reports will not be released for quite some time, up to a few weeks.
