Kate Winslet and Sam Mendes announced their separation this morning after being married for nearly seven years and it has sparked some curiosity. Kate won the Oscar last year for her role in The Reader and Sam was noticeably absent from this year's awards. Now a year after her win, she and her husband split — and they're not the first Oscar break-up. From Julia Roberts, George Clooney, and Reese Witherspoon, the Oscars mark a big win for some and a big loss for others.
