'Country Strong' Brings Out the Big Stars in Nashville

The stars of Hollywood made a strong showing at the premiere of Country Strong in Nashville last night. The country music capital of the world played host to Gwyneth Paltrow, Leighton Meester, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Tobey Maguire (who's producing the movie) and Dierks Bentley at the premiere.

Country Strong is about an aging star, played by Gwyneth, who starts to feel overtaken by a young, promising talent, portrayed by Leighton.

Gwyn has a crossover performance in the film, as she sings her own songs. Co-star Tim, who plays her husband/manager in the flick, said she was up to the challenge, telling OK! recently, “She’s a great country singer because when it came out it was pure honesty. You know the thing about country music, it’s such an honest (kind of) music.”
