Courteney Cox isn't quite ready to start dating again. The Cougar Town star separated from her husband of 11 years, David Arquette, back in October of 2010 and she's only just trying to open herself up to the idea of dating.

Courteney, along with her Cougar Town cast, appears on Anderson Cooper's talk show this week. The 47-year-old actress opens up a little on her separation from David and why she hasn't dated anyone since him.
“Yeah, you know it’s hard,” Courteney told Anderson. “I probably caught up to this whole situation later than he did. And, I am really happy for him and he’s got a girlfriend. Everything’s great, I know it seems so weird, it’s even weird for me to say that.”
Courteney sounded like she was getting a little emotional while discussing the idea of dating again.
“David said, ‘Courteney, you’ve got to get out there.’ I’m easing my way in,” she said.

Truthfully, Courteney says she's a "homebody" and doesn't really like to go out so it's hard to meet people.
While she'd prefer not to date someone in the business, Courteney admits it's easier to find someone at work.
She admits, "I don't know how this is going to work."
Well, we hope she can get back out there soon!
Courtney's appearance on Anderson airs Tuesday, Feb. 21.
