NEWS'Dance Moms' Gets Miami Spin-Off on Lifetime

Dance Moms fans are already having a good day since a new episode is on tonight, but it's going to get even better! Lifetime announced today that they'll be picking up a spin-off of the hit show — Dance Moms: Miami.

Currently, the original Dance Moms is set in Pittsburgh, so the new location should really jazz up the show.
Set in steamy Miami, Dance Moms will focus on Stars Dance Studio where Victor Smalley and Angel Armas teach young girl and boy dancers and hold them to high standards.
“Dance Moms quickly became a stand-out hit for Lifetime last year that we knew would be perfect to build out and franchise into other series,” Nancy Dubuc, President and General Manager of Lifetime Networks, said in a statement. “Dance Moms: Miami captures the same energy, passion and conflict between an equally intriguing cast of instructors, amazing dancers and moms who are 100% dedicated to become the best at what they do.”

Six episodes of Dance Moms: Miami have been picked up by Lifetime.
