After weeks of rumors, it has now been confirmed that Dancing With the Stars will air its first-ever all-star season this fall.

While guest co-hosting Live with Kelly! on April 25, DWTS alum Mario Lopez let the news slip that the producers of the long-running dance competition called him up and asked if he would like to be a part of the special 15th season, revealing that the contestants would be stars from the past.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, ABC entertainment president Paul Lee revealed that Mario was indeed correct, officially confirming the "All-Star" season during an Upfront presentation.

"We can't talk about the casting yet, but I'd love to see some of the fan favorites from the last seasons come back," he said. "We have many from the past 14 seasons."

And although Mario — who is definitely considered a fan favorite after he came in second during the third season of DWTS — would love to come back for the 15th cycle, he confessed to Kelly Ripa, "I just don't know how I'd be able to pull it off."
