Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler recently called off their engagement, so being a contestant on Dancing With the Stars comes at a good time for the former Hills star and her main goal is to have fun!

"I just wanted to try something completely new," Kristin explained to reporters last night about why she joined DWTS. "I'm completely out of my element here, and to have fun! It seems like everyone who does it has a really good time."

And for those who may think Kristin's doing it to get revenge on Jay — she's not!

"I'm not doing it to get revenge!" she explained with a laugh to OK!. "I just wanted to do it to have fun. You get in great shape, when else will I learn to dance like this? I just think so many great things. I'll grow so much as a person and so many great things will happen."

While partners haven't been revealed yet, Kristin did tell reporters that she's happy with who she got.

Kristin's former Hills co-star Audrina Patridge is also a former Dancing With the Stars contestant and offered Kristin some advice.

"She said, 'It's a lot of fun but it gets really hard towards the end,' " Kristin shared. "She said she was dancing on two sprained ankles by the end of it, but she said, 'Just enjoy it and you'll have a good time!'

And really, Kristin's main goal is to have fun and not to lose weight.

"No, I don't want to lose weight. If anything, I just want to tone up," she said.

What part does she most want to tone?

"My stomach's my problem area, so my stomach."
