Cheryl Burke weighs in on Motown Week with Gladys Knight and partner William Levy's progress!
It's always a special thrill and occasion on Dancing With the Stars when we get to dance to music sung by the original artists and Motown week was no exception. Having Gladys Knight there was icing on the cake. To be able to be in the room with so many legends at one time... what an honor.
We had an iconic Smokey Robinson song, who could complain about that? It was a perfect Rumba song.
But doing two dances a week is hard — three dances? Almost impossible! The competition is getting intense.
However, William is a great partner. He has such a willingness to learn, and he trusts that I'm going to make him the best dancer he can be. I'm fortunate that he comes into this competition with a natural ability, and he's turning into a capable ballroom dancer.

The biggest challenge every week is staying focused and staying motivated when you're so tired. The commitments that we have on the show and off of it can be overwhelming. Keeping your head in the game has to be the priority.
Last week, Tom Bergeron threw his traditional mid-season party for all of us. it was a great occasion for all of us to let our hair down with the cast and crew. Tom's so generous and it's great that he does it midseason because just when life is getting rough, it gives us something to look forward to.
