David Letterman is back in headlines, and this time his safety may be in jeopardy. The FBI is investigating a threat made against the late night talk show host, after a commenter on an online forum for radical Muslims posted a comment urging others to "cut the tongue" of the comedian because of a joke he made on Late Night about Osama Bin Laden.
The comment was written on Tuesday by a person identified as "Umar al-Basrawi," which is believed to be an alias.

The poster told users of the Shumuka al-Islam forum to punish the host for a joke about dead al Qaeda leaders Osama bin Laden and Ilyas Kashmiri which he made on his CBS show June 8, Radar Online reports.
Al-Basrawi wrote that Letterman had "put his hand on his neck and demonstrated the way of slaughter," then threatening, "Is there not among you a Sayyid Nosair al-Mairi ... to cut the tongue of this lowly Jew and shut it forever?"
