"I don't even know where to go," Trevor Bayne, this year's Daytona 500 winner, exclaimed as he was summoned to take his first visit to Victory Lane. Bayne, 20, not only took NASCAR's biggest title on Sunday in Daytona Beach, Fla., but also make speedway history as the youngest champ in 53 years.
"Our first 500, are you kidding me?" Bayne said, via NPR, after his upset. "Wow. This is unbelievable."
The young driver from Tennessee was crowned winner of the Great American Race just one day aft his 20th birthday.
Bayne also gave the legendary Wood Brothers team its fifth Daytona 500 victory driving a No. 21 Ford, NPR reports. The brothers' last win was in 1976 with David Pearson.

He beat out Carl Edwards for the win, after Dale Earnhardt Jr. crashed while attempting a green-white-checkered flag finish.
Bayne also broke NASCAR pro Jeff Gordon's record for youngest champ as he was 26 when he won the 500 in 1997.
"I think it's very cool. Trevor's a good kid, and I love the Wood Brothers," Jeff said. "I'm really happy for him. And I think it's great for the sport. To have a young talent like that — he's got that spark, you know?"
