A source from Books & Review claims Harper Collins has doled out a $2 million advance for the actress to pen a tell-all that will be edited Jennifer Barth and published by Jonathan Burnham. They are still searching for a co-writer.
Sources, however, are unclear about what Demi's tome will focus on most. The G.I. Jane star has endured plenty of ups and down, including a cocaine addiction, a tumultuous relationship with her mother, a clever comeback and two very public divorces — one which was followed relentlessly by the tabloids due to her then-husband's incessant cheating.
"We already had a great book outline from her in which she said she would write about overcoming her alcohol and cocaine addictions," a source from The Daily Star reported. "Now she’s going to blow the lid on her six-year marriage to Ashton, so what would have been a best-selling book is going to become a blockbuster!”

Her three daughters, however, reportedly aren't thrilled with mom airing all the family secrets. This latest wrinkle definitely won't help her relationship with Rumer, Scout and Tallulah, who reportedly have tired of Demi's theatrics.

"Demi is just being very needy right now and the girls are tired of it; they want a mother, not another little sister. They are all concerned that she is going to relapse and head back to rehab, and they can't deal with the stress and worry of it," a source told RadarOnline.com in July. "The breaking point was Tallulah's graduation. None of the girls wanted Demi there, but she turned up anyway, and it was really strained."
