OK! Magazine is looking for a Design Intern for the fall 2009 semester. The ideal intern should be psyched about design, willing and ready to take the next step. Among various (fun!) organizational duties, the intern will need to be able to communicate, be able to take instruction and feedback. The applicant should understand the proper use of typography mixed with photography and be willing to learn more.

The winning candidate will have honed in on their design skills, their abilities to multi-task, and their confidence in themselves by taking on projects from start to finish. It is our goal to best prepare our interns for the real world, so they leave us with a portfolio of worthy work and professionally printed pieces.

The candidate will need to know CS2, Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint, Acrobat, Word etc. Internships at OK! are unpaid, but a travel/lunch stipend and lasting, fond memories are provided. School credit is required for undergrads, but graduate students are encouraged to apply. Please send a resume and cover letter and a letter from your school (on official letter head) verifying you are a full-time, matriculate student receiving credit for internships to jobs@okmagazine.com, and include “Fall Design 09 Internship” in the subject line.
