DJ AM's Death Ruled Accidental

A month after Adam Goldstein, aka DJ AM, passed away from a suspected drug overdose in his NYC apartment, the New York City Medical Examiner has determined the cause of his death, TMZ reports. And while some at first suspected suicide, the M.E. is calling his death an accident.
The M.E. says the cause of death as "acute intoxication" from combining cocaine, OxyContin, hydrocodone (Vicodin), Ativan, Klonopin, Xanax, Benadryl and Levamisole (a drug used to cut cocaine with).

The manner of death is listed as "accident (substance abuse)."
DJ AM, who had been sober for over 10 years at the time of his passing, was working on a reality TV show on substance abuse and intervention, Gone Too Far. The popular musician was mourned by friends and family at a private tribute on Sept. 3 in L.A.
