Do Good: Three Charities Close To Cory Monteith's Heart

Cory Monteith's tragic passing has put a spotlight on drug and alcohol addiction and the demons those suffering from the disease face on a daily basis. While the Glee star has left us far too soon, there were several charitable organizations Cory supported in an effort to help others get their lives on track. The following are accepting donations in his name:

• Project Limelight Society
A free performing arts program for young people in downtown Vancouver, Project Limelight not only fosters an artistic environment, participant rehearse a full-length theatrical production culminating in professional stage performance to show they've set a goal and achieved it. In the clip below Cory talks about the power of the organization.

Helping those in need with a path to self-sufficiency, Chrysalis is a non-profit providing the necessary resources and support for homeless and low-income individuals to find and retain employment.
• Virgin Unite
Putting issues like youth homelessness, unemployment and health and environmental crises at the forefront, Virgin Unite works to find business-based solutions to these global problems. Below Cory talks about his involvement with Virgin Unite.
