
Glee to Delay Production Due to Cory Monteith's Death—Find Out the Show's New Premiere Date

Fox has decided to postpone when the hit show Glee will go into production.
"In light of the tragic passing of beloved Glee cast member Cory Monteith, the series’ executive producers, 20th Century Fox Television and Fox Broadcasting Company have jointly decided to delay the start of production of Glee until early August," the show announced in a press release on Friday.

Season Five of the show will now premiere on Thursday, Sept. 26 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT).

As OKMagazine.com reported, staff at the Pacific Rim Hotel in Canada, discovered Cory dead after he failed to check out of his room on time.

Coroners later determined that the 31-year-old actor had died after ingesting a lethal mixture of alcohol and heroin.
