Dolly Parton Defends the 'Untamed' Miley Cyrus

Country music legend Dolly Parton has come to the defense of teen pop sensation Miley Cyrus, dismissing the critiques that the young superstar is destined for a rocky future.
"I've known her since she was a baby," Dolly told Fox News. "I hate it when people criticize her."
Miley has continually said Dolly is one of her biggest idols, and she is the singer's "honorary goddaughter."

"I mean, we never had a ceremony or nothing," Dolly, 64, said. "She is a great singer; she has a great voice. She's a great little entertainer and she can speak to you like she is 50 years old."
Lately, Miley has been widely criticized for her risque outfits and partying habits, however, Dolly feels Miley is just a teenager struggling to grow up in the international spotlight.
