Ed McMahon Treated for Smoke Inhalation

Ed McMahon is recovering after being treated for shortness of breath.

TMZ is reporting that McMahon was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. over the weekend and doctors put him in the Cardiac Unit. However, after running tests, they discovered Ed's heart was just fine. Instead, he, like many other Southern Californians, was suffering from choking smoke--the result of the multiple wildfires in the L.A. area.

McMahon suffered respiratory problems with symptoms similar to a heart attack, but tonight the former Star Search host is home and doing just fine.
