After only eight months of marriage to Fred Armisen, Mad Men star Elisabeth Moss has filed for divorce.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Elisabeth filed for divorce on Monday in L.A. from her Saturday Night Live husband.

Elisabeth also requests to terminate the court's jurisdiction to award spousal support to Fred.

Fred and Elisabeth were married on Oct. 23, 2009.
A few months after their wedding Elisabeth told OK!, “People say married life is different and you don’t believe it until you actually do it, and it is different – in the best way. It’s a sense of calmness that you get that’s really lovely. It’s a wonderful thing.”
