Well, this is quite exciting news. Marvel has confirmed that Elizabeth Olsen will be joining the Avengers sequel, Avengers: Age of Ultron as the Scarlet Witch. Joining Elizabeth as her fellow superhero sibling is Kick-Ass' Aaron Taylor-Johnson who will play the speedy Quicksilver. Fun fact: the two are also co-starring together in the Godzilla reboot which will hit theaters in May 2014.

Watch: See James Franco and Seth Rogen as Kim and Kanye. Wow.

While we have to wait until May of 2015 for the Joss Whedon-directed superheros to hit the screen again, it will be worth it. Elizabeth was amazing in movies like Martha Marcy May Marlene and Liberal Arts (Netflix them ASAP if you must), but to see Mary-Kate and Ashley's younger sister show off her magical powers alongside Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner and more hunks will be super fun. In the Marvel universe, powerful mutants Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver (human names: Wanda and Pietro Maximoff) actually started out villans in an X-Men comic book from 1964, and a year later joined the Avengers. They will begin shooting the Marvel flick in London early next year.
