After a more than shocking death in December of 2009, the investigation into Brittany Murphy’s passing has taken a mysterious turn as an excess amount of Vicodin prescribed to the 32-year-old was found in her home.
According to TMZ, Brittany picked up a prescription for 120 hydrocodone pills just 11 days before she was found unconscious at her Hollywood Hills abode on the bathroom floor.
While the normal dosage recommended is four pills a day, there were only 11 pills left in the bottle on the day of her passing, when there should have been upwards of 44 left.
The autopsy report on Brittany's body, released on Thursday, revealed that the Clueless star died due to pneumonia and from the use of prescription drugs, while no illegal substances were found to have affected her passing.

TMZ reports that the doctor’s name on the prescription of painkillers is Cohen, but as of yet he has not been located and Brittany’s husband Simon Monjack hasn’t been of any help in the process.
