On Dec. 21, we woke up in a post-Jersey Shore world. A dark day, indeed. But on Jan. 3, things got a little bit brighter. For some of us, anyway—those of us who enjoy all things muddy, death-defying and alcoholic. Buckwild premiered to massive ratings: 2.5 million people tuned in, which is 1 million more than Jersey Shore's 2009 premiere.

Tonight could be thought of as the real test for Buckwild—it's easy to draw in first time viewers with teasers like kids jumping from a rooftop into a dump truck fashioned as a pool, but will they be back? We chatted with Katie Saria, Shae Bradley and Anna Davis, who say the fun is just getting started, so, 2.5 million people from last week, if you're listening, ya'll come back now, ya hear?

OK!: What was it like watching the premiere?

Anna Davis: Watching the premiere was so surreal. I could not believe it was finally happening after all this time! To know that our show was being watched internationally, well, that was the real kicker. It was actually weirder seeing my best friends on TV than myself.

Katie Saria: I was counting down the minutes until the premiere! I was biting my nails the whole time, but I was also very excited.

Shae Bradley: After spending a few days in New York, Shain Gandee and I arrived back in West Virginia in time to watch the second episode. I was excited about the show, but also excited to be back home with my friends and family.

OK! Many people in your position have said that they never expected their shows would be such great successes. Were you excited by the initial ratings? Why should people keep tuning in?

SB: The initial ratings came as a huge surprise to me. I kept reading them over and over to Shain, Joey Mulchy and Tyler Boulet. Our jaws just dropped and we got chills, it's so crazy! I hope that people keep watching and loving our show. It keeps getting better and more exciting! I'm even anxiously waiting for Thursdays to come around!

KS: I was blown away but the ratings. It's just getting started though, people should keep tuning in because the best is yet to come!

AD: Never in a million years did I think we would surpass Jersey Shore ratings! It was unbelievable. The news got me so pumped to see what is in store for the next airing. Everyone should keep tuning in because the stories get crazier and so do the things we do! Who wouldn't want to watch that?

OK! Speaking of Jersey Shore, did you watch? And if so, do you have a favorite castmember?

AD: I used to watch Jersey Shore religiously. My favorites are JWoww Jenni Farley and Pauly D Paul DelVecchio.

SB: I loved all of them, but Sammi Giancola and Vinny Guadagnino are probably my favorites.

KS: My favorite castmember is Vinny. I have a huge crush on Vinny. Like, it's actually unhealthy how much I love Vinny and want to marry him and start an MTV family with him. (Now there's a show the OK! staff would never miss!)

OK! Based on what you have seen, do you think you'll mostly be excited or nervous to watch the show each week?

KS: I'm absolutely going to be on the edge of my seat, excited to watch the new episodes each week! I love re-living what my best friends and I get into.

AD: I'm so freaking excited to watch each week! Nothing is stopping me from tuning in. Now, it seems like it takes forever for Thursday to roll around!

SB: Thursdays can't come soon enough. It's more excitement than nerves—I just hope everyone continues to love it as much as we do.

Two new episodes of Buckwild (intriguingly titled "Sex, Lies & Chicken Wings" and "Paint the Town Hyperglow") air tonight at 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on MTV!
