Exclusive! 'RHOM' Star Lea Black Tells Us What Went Down With Marysol Patton & Dishes on All the Drama
Jan. 4 2013, Published 9:27 a.m. ET
Lea Black has been the center of some ugly fights and intense drama on The Real Housewives of Miami and the reality star weighs in on the show and exclusively gives tells us her side of the story.
OK!: Give us your take on what happened with Marysol Patton.
Lea Black: She dropped the ball and caused some issues at our charity event and to add insult to injury, instead of taking responsibility for her mistakes, she badmouths the charity and the volunteers. She justifies her poor performance by claiming to be a "volunteer" instead of a professional hired to do a job but I have canceled checks and contracts to prove otherwise. I think her intentions were good and she meant well, but there were mistakes made that had a domino effect on the Gala. Just like it is her duty to protect her company it is my duty to protect the charity, donors, talent and volunteers.

OK!: How do you feel about the relationship ending?
LB: We weren't close before season one but I did grow to feel close to her throughout the past couple of years. It's always sad to see a relationship end but I truly feel like she just keeps pushing the dagger into me by saying things like she will get even if someone "crosses her" and calling me a "heartless monster."
OK!: Why do you think Marysol's marriage is in such turmoil?
LB: I don't think about it.
OK!: You and Ana Quincoces have not been getting along. Give us your side on what happened between you two.
LB: I haven't had 100 words with her since the show started and maybe 20 words the couple of very brief times I met her before. My understanding is that according to her, the rage started with protecting Marysol, then it was because three girls on the show told her I was going to "attack" her, then it was that I talked about her daughters (It’s not true and you won't find that anywhere in anything I ever said on the show or wrote on my blog), then it was the editing and I think the latest is, well, I can't remember right this second.
OK!: You told Adriana De Moura she's beautiful on the outside, but coming across ugly on the inside. Explain what you meant by that and what your relationship is like with her.
LB: I have always cared for and protected Adriana and her son, and I adore Frederick. I didn't say she came across ugly. What I said was, and I was speaking to both her and Joanna, "it is heartbreaking when people are so beautiful on the outside and the opposite on the inside, and out of my love and devotion to her - I have been honest about it."

OK!: What is your opinion on the feud between Joanna Krupa and Adriana?
LB: I think they are both good girls and things unfortunately escalated. A lot of outside influences fueled the fire.
OK!: What do you think of everyone bashing Karent Sierra?
LB: I said I disagreed with it back at the Venue party and I still disagree with it. She's a classy girl and kept smiling under the worst of circumstances and I admire her for it.

OK!: How has all of the drama on the show affected your personal life and marriage?
LB: It has not. I don't let petty things get in the way of my personal life. I have too much going on between finalizing my book and my businesses, like the launch of theworldofleablack.com and Lea Black Beauty, and I especially don’t let these sorts of things get in the way of my marriage.
